We offer a variety of 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom apartments to fit your needs. You can view all of of our available homes on the Floor Plans page.

Yes, we offer plenty of free on-site parking for residents. There are also a select number of garages available for an additional monthly fee. Please contact our office for specific details regarding visitor parking and any regulations.

​Our fees are pretty standard — an application fee, administrative fee, deposit, pet fee (if applicable), security deposit, and first month’s rent. We’ll give you a clear breakdown of everything before you sign so there are no surprises.

​Yes, we require residents to have renter’s insurance. It’s a simple way to protect you and your belongings, just in case. If you don’t have your own, we can help you get signed up.

​No, so you can make your space your own! However, if you’re not ready to commit to buying full bedroom or living room set, you could utilize our partners at CORT for decor and furniture rentals.

​We have an on-site maintenance team with 24/7 emergency service. The team goes through various training throughout the year, including HVAC maintenance and repair, safety procedures, and various technical skills. Standard non-emergency maintenance requests are typically addressed within 24 to 48 business hours, while 24/7 emergency maintenance is available for urgent issues.

​Our online portal makes it easy. You can pay rent and submit maintenance requests from your couch. It’s built for convenience, not complication.

We are a genuinely pet-friendly community. We welcome both cats and dogs, with no breed or weight restrictions. We do have a limit of two pets per household, and a pet screening is required.

Yes. We do require a one-time pet fee and a monthly pet rent, both of which are per pet. There also may be an additional fee for the required pet screening. You can reach out to our team for more questions and we’ll go over the full pet policy at the lease signing.

Beyond our no breed or weight restrictions, our community features a dedicated dog park and plenty of space for daily walks.

Unfortunately, we do not allow residents to remove any of the appliances provided in our apartment homes.

Yes, every apartment at Hayden Flats comes with a full-size washer and dryer for your convenience.

All our apartments feature a full suite of stainless steel appliances, including a built-in microwave, refrigerator, glass top stove, and dishwasher.

Yes, residents can enjoy our heated saltwater swimming pool and outdoor lounge during the season. It is typically open on or around Memorial Day and closes on or around Labor Day.

Hayden Flats is approximately a 10-15 minute drive or 15-minute bike ride to IU’s Bloomington campus.

We are situated south of downtown along the Bloomington Rail Trail, just east of the Bloomington Country Club. Hayden Flats is located near all the shopping, nightlife, and major employers in Bloomington.

Bloomington offers a small-town feel with the perks of big city living. Our apartment community is the perfect blend of peaceful serenity with easy access to the best places to eat, drink, and shop. We’re located right next to the B-line trail, the Bloomington Country Club, and Switchyard Park.

Hayden Flats is conveniently located with quick access to several major schools and employers, including Indiana University Bloomington, Cook Medical, and Ivy Tech Community College Bloomington. We are also located within the Monroe County Community School Corporation, with our K-12 residents attending Summit Elementary, Lara L Batchelor Middle School, and Bloomington High School South.
